Gas Cylinders are 1.102" in diameter (close to 1 1/8"), a virtual worldwide standard

The gas cylinder is not screwed into the Mechanism (under the seat), but is securely held only by the taper press fit.

Every "COM" purchase includes a new column. The column supports the gas cylinder, contains a bearing kit, and plastic cylinder support. All preassembled into one unit for installation ease.
